Key Responsibilities
- Component level diagnosis of failures in non conforming products.
- Responsible for performing routine problem and failure analysis on customer returns.
- Maintenance and troubleshooting of production test equipment
- Design of mechanical fixturing related to production test.
- Responsible for evaluating the production test department and recommending action to be taken to provide continuous improvement in: Product yield, Test time reduction, Equipment uptime, Product cost, Material Flow; Product Quality; and Worker Environment.

Education and Experience Requirements
- Requires post secondary school graduation (college or university graduation) in electrical engineering or related discipline with three years of related work experience OR
- Ten years of progressively more responsible jobs in Production Test Engineering and demonstrated abilities as identified below
Skills, Special Attributes and Training Requirements
- Must have good communication skills in English, verbal and written and be able to communicate effectively throughout the organization, specifically with development engineering departments.
- Must demonstrate superior problem solving and project management abilities.
- Must be a self-starter, capable of working with little direct supervision.
- Must possess technical skills normally associated with the above outlined formal education.
- Must be capable of analyzing problems from observed occurrences to determine root cause and correct.
- Software development for instrumentation in Visual Basic, Labview or C++.
- Experience with RF circuitry an asset.
- Experience with pneumatics an asset.
