How are device options enabled?
Device options enable specific function features on the device. These features include special protocols (DNP and DF1), controller programming environment (ISaGRAF) and gas-flow calculations (flow computer). All device options are pre-installed on the devices but need to be enabled in order for the feature to function. Some device options have to be purchased from us. A special activation code, provided by our team, is required to enable any new options.
To enable device options:
- From the main Firmware Loader dialog, select the Change Options button. The following dialog is displayed:

- From the New Options column, select the options that are to be enabled.
- Contact a Customer Support department. After providing purchase information (if required), you will be prompted to provide the Controller ID, Current Options and New Options. From this information, a unique activation code will be generated for you.
- Enter the activation code into the Activation Code edit field.
- Select the OK button to change the device options and close the dialog.
