What is required to run ISaGRAF logic code on a controller?
Four items are required to run ISaGRAF logic code on a controller.

IEC1131 option must be enabled on the controller.

The firmware type must be ISaGRAF.

ISaGRAF workbench version 3.32 must be installed on the local computer.

ISaGRAF Extensions must be installed on the local computer.

IEC1131 option must be enabled on the controller. This can be determined by using the Firmware Loader application. To determine if the option is enabled:
o Start the Firmware Loader application.
o Select the PC Communications Settings dialog and configure an appropriate PC to controller connection.
o Select the OK button to accept the configuration and close the dialog.
o Select the Device Information button. The following dialog will be displayed:
o Ensure that the IEC61131 option is enabled with a check mark in its box. If it is not, contact our Customer Support department for a free-of-charge activation code to enable the option.
- The firmware type must be ISaGRAF. If it is not, (as in above sample), use the Update Firmware command from the main Firmware Loader dialog to write the appropriate ISaGRAF firmware to the controller.
o Select the Close button to close the Device Information dialog.
o From the main Firmware Loader dialog, select the Exit button to exit the application.
- ISaGRAF workbench version 3.32 must be installed on the local computer. To install the ISaGRAF workbench 3.32:
o Insert the IEC 61131-3 installation CD into the local CD drive. The following dialog will be displayed automatically after several seconds:
o Select the Install ISaGRAF Workbench button and follow installation instructions.
- ISaGRAF Extensions must be installed on the local computer. To install the ISaGRAF Extensions:
o From the IEC 61131-3 installation CD main dialog, (see above), select the Install ISaGRAF Extensions command and follow installation instructions.
o Select the Exit button to close the IEC 61131-3 installation CD main dialog.
