How are ISaGRAF project files zipped?
Each ISaGRAF project is comprised of many different files. In order to zip (archive) these files together into one all-inclusive file, for archiving or emailing purposes:
- From the Project Management dialog, select the Tools | Archive | Projects command. The following dialog is displayed:
The list on the left contains all projects available for use in the workbench. The list on the right contains all the zipped (archived) projects that are found in the hard drive location indicated in the Archive Location field.
- To change the Archive Location, select the Browse button. The following dialog is displayed:
- Browse to the desired hard drive location and select the OK button to close the dialog.
- Highlight the project name that is to be archived from the Workbench list.
- Select the Backup button. The project will be archived to a single file with the same name as the project and a file extension .pia. It will be located in the Archive Location.
