How are the flow calculations started and stopped?
The flow calculations must be started in order for the flow rate to be calculated and logged. They can be started (and stopped) from two locations in Realflo, the online Current Readings dialog for the specific Flow Run and the Calculation Control dialog.
To start or stop the flow calculations from the Current Readings dialog, select the desired flow run from the Available Flow Runs buttons. See below:

- Select the View | Current Readings command.
- Select the Flow Computer | Update Readings command. Realflo will go online with the controller.
- If the calculations are stopped or not set, select the Calculation Status – Calculation State – Start button. If the calculations are running, select the Calculation Status – Calculation State – Stop button.

To start or stop the flow calculations form the Calculation Control dialog:
- Select the Maintenance | Calculation Control command. The following dialog is displayed:

- If the calculations are stopped or not set (indicated in the Current Status column), click on the words Stopped or Not Set in the New Status column to change the word to running.
- Repeat the last step for all available runs if desired.
- Select the OK button to accept the new run statuses and close the dialog.
