DNP and IEC 60870-5 Compliance
For your convenience, Control Microsystems provides a series of DNP3 Device Profile and IEC60870-5 Interoperability documents that detail the level of implementation of both these protocols within our products. This information, coupled with other third-party device profile and interoperability documents, provides a set of commonly supported protocol functionality.
Background
Flexibility and efficiency are just two reasons why Control Microsystems offers the DNP3 and IEC60870-5 communication protocols in our SCADAPack RTUs and ClearSCADA SCADA Management software. The protocols are used extensively in the SCADA industry and are the ideal choice for new installations of remote monitoring and control systems or when integrating Control Microsystems products into existing DNP3 or IEC60870-5-based infrastructure. ClearSCADA and SCADAPack E-Series controllers support both DNP3 and IEC60870-5 protocols while all remaining SCADAPack products support DNP3.
