Pumping Station Control System
This sample Pump Station Control System consists of a SCADAPack32 P4A Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) interfaced to a SCADAPack Vision10 Operator Interface Terminal (OIT), and is programmed to operate two or three pumps to maintain a level (a control variable) within set levels as defined by the user. The user, through the OIT, can select a pump up application (filling a reservoir or tank) or a pump down application (sewage wetwell draining). All configuration, set up, and operation steps for the system are achieved through the OIT unit.
There are six files associated with this sample project: a ladder logic file (.LAD) and its associated register data file (.CSV), a Vision configuration file (.PZM), a user manual in MS WORD Format (.DOC), a digital I/O EXCEL spreadsheet (.XLS) and an analog I/O EXCEL spreadsheet (.XLS).
To use this sample project:
- Select the following link: PUMPING STATION CONTROL SYSTEM.ZIP
- Select the Open button. (Winzip is opened)
- Select the Use Evaluation Version button. (The Winzip program list is displayed)
- From Winzip, select both files in the display list and then extract both files to a target folder on your computer.
- Exit Winzip.
