Pumping
Pump Alternation Scheme
Alternation scheme
Alternation scheme:
This parameter selects automatic, fixed or logic controlled pump alternation. Automatic or Fixed alternation allows the FlowStation to control the pump alternation. Custom logic can only be set from inside a logic application, it cannot be set via the web interface.
Max running pumps
Max running pumps:
The maximum number of simultaneously operating pumps.
Lead Pump
Lead Pump:
Lead pump selection for Fixed Alternation scheme.
Lag Pump
Lag Pump:
Lag pump selection for Fixed Alternation scheme.
Standby Pump
Standby Pump:
Standby pump selection for Fixed Alternation scheme.
Pump Station Optional Components
Flush valve used
Flush valve used:
When Set on, the station has a flush valve that is to be controlled by FlowStation
Fat ring reduction operation
Fat ring reduction operation:
Select Yes to have the FlowStation use fat ring reduction techiniques. When set on, fat ring reduction techniques are used on the FlowStation
Pump down build-up removal operation
Pump down build-up removal operation:
Select Yes to have the FlowStation use buildup removal techniques.

Pump startup time
Pump startup time:
The pump startup time specifies the maximum amount of time, in seconds, that a pump is permitted to start.
Pump start attempt limit
Pump start attempt limit:
A pump is permitted a configurable number of start attempts before the pump is flagged as tripped, and removed from the pump alternation scheme.
Pump motor recovery time
Pump motor recovery time:
The pump motor recovery time specifies the amount of time that must elapse after a pump failure before attempts are made to restart the pump.
Auto restart attempt limit
Auto restart attempt limit:
When motor trip contact signal is received the pump is stopped and attempts to restart it will not be made until the pump motor recovery time has elapsed.
Spin down time
Spin down time:
The maximum amount of time that a pump is permitted to take to spin down after being instructed to stop.
Max continuous run time
Max continuous run time:
The maximum amount of time that a pump is permitted to run before an alarm is triggered.
Seal wetting - Max idle time
Seal wetting - Max idle time:
The maximum number of hours that a pump is permitted to be idle before being operated for the seal wetting time.
Seal wetting - time
Seal wetting - time:
The time, in seconds, that a pump will run when the maximum idle time is reached.
Max pump starts per hour
Max pump starts per hour:
The maximum number of pump starts, per hour that are permitted, by a pump.
Pump has Flygt ® Valve
Pump has Flygt ® Valve:
When set on, indicates that the Pump uses a Flygt ® valve. The pump Flow Time does not include the Flygt ® Valve Open Time
Flygt ® valve open time
Flygt ® valve open time:
The number of seconds that the Flygt ® valve is open to re-circulate fluid.
Pump Timing Settings
Backup high alarm run interval
Backup high alarm run interval:
The minimum number of seconds that all pumps will be called to run for, when the backup high alarm float is reached and the level transducer or float switches have failed.
Filter time
Filter time:
the number of seconds that the level, or float switch, change must exist before being used by the FlowStation. The filter time setting is used by all setpoints.
Inter-pump start interval
Inter-pump start interval:
The minimum time interval between starts when more than one pump is called to start at the same time.
Inter-pump stop interval
Inter-pump stop interval:
The minimum time between the stopping of multiple pumps when they are using a common stop setpoint or float switch.
Power-on delay
Power-on delay:
A delay to allow the system to stabilize prior to commencing station operation.
Fat Ring Reduction
Range
Range:
Fat ring reduction range (%). The percentage deviation allowed from the setpoints in order to reduce fat build-up
Pump Down Build-Up Removal
Set point
Set point:
Setpoint down to which pumps will continue to run when pumping below the lead cut-out level for build-up removal
Maximum pump on time
Maximum pump on time:
The maximum time, in seconds, that the lead pump is permitted to run beyond its normal cut-out point
Frequency
Frequency:
The number of times the lead pump must shut off before the Time Extended pump-down cycle occurs.
Flush Valve
Flush Valve on Pump
Flush Valve on Pump:
Open the Flush Valve when this pump number is started
Flush Valve Open Time
Flush Valve Open Time:
The number of seconds that the flush valve opens at pump start
